            The village of Altınoluk, “Papazlık” with its old name which has hosted different cultures in the past today with its rough cobblestone pavements, stone houses, fountains, and mansions with haremlik-selamlık(section reserved for women-men) sections is a classical Turkish village... It is the second place in the world after the Alps to have the highest oxygen level. The air of the village is quite well-known. It is in the first rank among the most preferred places by the people who have respiratory problems. The greatest feature of the village is the village’s drinking water which is the natural spring water coming from Kazdağı.

            This region which has waters as ideal as its air, displays an exciting nature to its visitors. There are many small lakes with ice cold, limeless waters which are fast evaporating from the skin on the road to Şahinderesi Canyon. In summer, while swimming under the shadows of the trees in the small lakes or in one of the springs, you shall hear the nymphs of the mythology whispering. Şahinderesi Canyon, with its flower and thyme smelling water through the stages of Dereçatı, Naneli Pınar, Gücük Burun, Ağlayan Çam, Kestane Deresi, Yörük Pınarı, Selvili Mezarlık, Ayı Kapıları provides thousand and one pleasures travelers.
